You have questions and we have the answers.

Do parents need to stay?

Our after-school workshops are designed as drop-off sessions, so parents can leave their children with us and collect them at the end.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, spaces are limited to keep our workshops relaxed and enjoyable. Please book in advance using the Book button on our website.

What should my child wear?

We recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy.

What happens during a workshop?

Every session is different! Children will have opportunities to explore painting, printing, collage, sculpture, drawing and all sorts of creative techniques. We encourage experimentation and imagination rather than everyone making exactly the same thing.

Does The Art Den welcome children with additional needs?

We want The Art Den to be a welcoming, inclusive space. Please get in touch before booking if your child has any additional needs or requires extra support, so we can discuss how best to accommodate them.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Please contact us as soon as possible if your child can no longer attend. Our cancellation and refund policy will be provided when booking.

What if my child is nervous about coming?

We understand that trying something new can feel a little daunting. We're happy to chat beforehand and help your child feel comfortable and welcome.

Can I park there?

Yes, there is parking available on site. As we share the space with lots of other wonderful creatives and businesses, please park considerately and be mindful of our neighbours. There’s a playground in Kingham, just a five-minute drive around the corner, if you need to entertain the little ones. Alternatively, Daylesford is nearby if you fancy a coffee or a warming drink!

Tell me about the Workshop Leaders?

All workshop leaders are DBS checked. Penny is a trained First Aider and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), helping to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children attending The Art Den.
